Megan Hazen is a painter originally from the Ottawa Valley and now based in Burlington. Her work is primarily acrylic paint on wood panels, often depicting familiar landscapes, wildlife and florals. Hazen’s work is based on the idea of memory, wherein each place or animal is a reminder of home.

Megan has taken part in outdoor and gallery shows across the Ottawa Valley, Toronto, Florence (IT) and the GTA. This includes the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair and being a part of the inaugural season of Landscape Artist of the Year Canada on CBC.
