I have always loved art and creating art. My Grandfather was a painter, my Grandmother was a sculptor and my Mother is a quilter so I was encouraged at a young age to pursue my artistic side. I attended university at Ryerson for Interior Design and then worked in Film/TV as a Set Decorator. I then went back to school to become a teacher and have been teaching Art to Elementary students for many years. I have explored many different mediums (oils, acrylics, Alcohol ink and a variety of mixed media). I am still learning and will often take workshops/classes in other forms of art (Silk painting, glass blowing, quilting, and pottery). I hope to always have a passion for creating beautiful works of art for myself and others to enjoy.
