EGCC Membership FAQ's

Do I have to be a visual artist to be a Member?
No! Our membership includes anyone that has a creative spark and is interested in being part of a creative community of visual artists, makers, craftspeople, educators, designers, performers and writers!

I see that the Elizabeth Gardens Creative Collective serves Burlington-area artists. Do I have to live in Burlington to be a Member?
No! While our core efforts and activities take place in and around Burlington, our Membership is open to anyone in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

I just registered for Art Walk Membership and submitted my payment.  How long until I find out if my application was accepted?Applications are on a first-come first-served basis. We will notify successful applicants within 2 weeks of application.

I want to be a part of the Collective but am not able to do the Art Walk this year, can I still be a Member? 
Yes! Sign up for a Social Member Registration to access the benefits of Membership until May 31, 2026.

I would love to be a member, but I am not sure I can afford the fees. 
At our core, we strive to be an inclusive and barrier-free environment for creatives to connect and show their work. We are committed to keeping our fees as low as possible, however, if financial difficulties are a factor, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at egcreativecollective@gmail.com to discuss alternative solutions.
