I grew up in England where I worked in the social services field for many years. From a small child I have always been creative, starting by drawing cartoons as gifts for others. We emigrated to Canada 25 years ago with my young family. While viewing an intricate wood burning demonstration at a woodworking show just 3 years ago, I was inspired to pick up a pencil again.
I started with drawing and quickly moved to discover the world of painting. Lately I have been experimenting with acrylic pouring. I struggle with daily chronic pain and have found a therapeutic escape through my studio. I am thrilled and encouraged to be part of a like-minded group of artists in the Collective.
Come and say “hello” at the Art Walk event!
